Fouquet's - Paris, France

This restaurant has been considered the icon of Paris life, tradition and history. We went there during the summer of 2000. I was not impressed by their food or service. You almost have to take out a loan to pay for the meal... But I guess being the younger generation, we just don't appreciate the high life as much as the older generations. Reasonably priced, trendy atmosphere and friendly service with good food mean more to us than eating at a restaurant full of celeb pictures and autographs hanging everywhere on the wall.
